Semi retired, I live in Surrey and frequently visit Shropshire and welsh borders. ....... Divorced, No children, 5'-11" to 6'-0", non-smoker, medium build with dark hair, caring, GSOH and positive outlook.
What interests me? ...I have a spirit for the outdoors, and things natural. A walk in the local countryside (the Wrekin or Long Mynd) along the coast (not town beach) or in the mountains (stopping at a country pub). Dont do rather than sitting in a pub every night, sport or reality or TV although also happy to just chill with a good film when the mood takes. A midnight walk under the stars or along the beach, sharing the cooking, travel & swimming, especially in warm tropical waters.
My hobbies are a little different. I have always risen to a personal challenge rather than follow the pack with team games. I have no interest in football, rugby or the like and hype that goes with them. I bought myself a new hybrid bike in 2016 and now enjoy cycling over the downs, along the rivers, towpaths, tracks and quiet country lanes for leisure, rather than roads. My canoes have also gone back on the water after a long break.
My principal passtime is gliding and teaching other people to fly gliders. A sense of humour helps, as instructing is voluntary ! It is also very rewarding seeing the smiles on people's faces after their first flight and first solo. Not going to push anyone to take part but would be great it they would support my interest and trust me to take them for a flight.
I am not afraid of showing affection in public and quite happy walking hand in hand along a beach, kicking through the waves or watching the sunset. I enjoy eating out as well as quite nights in and enjoyed the odd game of scrabble or the like in front of the fire on those cold winter evenings.
Spare seat anyone, or come along for a cycle or dog walk sometime?

The million dollar question ! .... Someone who wants to be with me for who I am and not what they want me to turn me into. ..... .
