About her
Retired from middle management, I am now a "lady that lunches." I am an excellent "friend," that is to say I have retained friendships from schooldays, ex colleagues, associates etc. as well as making new ones to date. I have a busy social life, but would like "someone special" to share experiences with, if it were only to plan theatre outings, dinner, short breaks, holidays etc.
I am an avid reader, belong to a reading group( what tangents the discussions take us on!!), local history classes etc. etc. I like gardening, grow tomatoes, cucumbers etc in glasshouse, and some veggies.
I am secretary of a local branch of a national charity, which meets once a month, also attend fundraising events, arrange events etc. as well as "normal" duties that secretary's have to do.
Family are very important to me. My two daughters live very independant lives, but keep in constant touch, visit regularly, and spoil me with treats. Example, last November they arranged for the three of us to visit Munich as my birthday treat.
I would like to meet a "gentleman" in the fullest sense of the word, to share what life has left to throw at us.
