I was a rebellious boy. At school, new teachers would ask which one I was. They'd been tipped off in the staff room.
I love non-mainstream music. At 16, I managed to get interviews with Johnny Rotten and Pete Townshend for 2 punk fanzines. I was friendly with John Peel until that awful night on my Birthday in 79, but you will have to ask me about that... I did apologise later! He was a genuinely nice guy. I was working at the BBC, whilst squatting in South London with other punks. My spiky orange hair and tatty clothes appalled my bosses! I also worked in famous music clubs and onstage at the Reading Festival.
I've been a Trade Unionist, Qualified Trainer, Leader, Volunteer, Public Speaking Coach, Rescued Animals Fosterer, Employed & Self-Employed. I've become a self-confident, successful, tender, sensitive, and empathetic man.
I listen to a wide range of music and watch very little TV. I listen to Radio 4 all day. I love travelling. In the past 15 years, I've toured France, Spain, Morocco, Turkey, Poland, Tunisia, N & S India, Iran, Baltic States, USA, Beijing, & DPRK. I prefer vegetarian food, but do eat a little fish and poultry. I'm an ethical consumer and recycler.

About his ideal match
I would like to meet a woman who is unequivocally unattached. She should be happy and content with herself, warm, have integrity, and a positive approach to life.
I want to meet someone who does not smoke (even rarely) or 'vape' and who has not given up in the past 3 years or so. I also would like to meet someone who does not have children under 16 living at home (I do like kids, but at this point in my life, I would not want that ‘tie’). Finally, concerning body size, I am very slim and therefore I’d like to meet someone who is Size 12 or below.
