About her
If 'different' is good for you, then maybe because I'm different than most girls but I hope not in a bad way! American-born but Surrey-bred since age 5 and sound like it! Lots of contradictions: I am serious and funny, smart and stupid, outgoing and shy, happy barefoot or bejeweled, good dancer but sometimes clumsy, patient and impatient, conservative and eccentric, happy and sad, spiritual and pragmatic, always hungry to learn so my friends are all funny, remarkable people who teach me. Since being a spoilt teenager who genuinely believed that all she would ever have to know was how to make quiche and accessorize, life has thrown some serious curve balls which I think have made me a better person. Some things stay consistent: I don't like people who don't even try to have empathy for another person, child or animal. Same with cruelty, selfishness and lack of honour. No patience whatsoever. On a more banal level, not sure what to think about guys who can't change a tyre? (Actually, I do...) I can do a few things well like bake (and sell) to-die-for messy cakes, do the best Christmas trees (I love Christmas), host big parties single-handed, and as a bonus, make friends easily with kids and animals. My professional life has taken many twists and turns along side the personal ones, but has now come full circle back to art, but this time with a camera instead of a brush. By total mistake have become nature and wildlife photographer because I love both. Exhibiting in Henley now in case you find yourself there? So, if you aren't terrified yet and would like to get in touch, please do, but please know that will be sending no nude photographs or discussing stockings, cleavage, heels, favourite essences or anything else that you would not have your sister/mother discuss with a veritable stranger, so don't ask! You know you can make all the plans you want about this but it ain't gonna pan out like you thought it would because good old-fashioned Chemistry is going to screw your Perfect Person List up! So here goes nothing: He will command respect. He'll be smarter than I am, and 'bigger' than I am, and secure so I can finally be The Girl! He will be kind, but not a pushover.
