About her
I am young and heart and looking for someone who can cope with a highly intelligent free spirit. I am widely travelled and have lived all over the world. I still have an enormous sense of adventure and a longing to explore the bits of the world I haven't visited. I am funny and warm feel that I still have a lot to offer. I do a great deal of voluntary work and have been involved in local politics as an independent.
I am looking for someone who is also planning to grow old disgracefully and has a refined sense of the ridiculous, as I do. I love art, music and theatre and have an enormous and eclectic collection of books. I am self educated but none the worse for this. I am a craftswoman and always have something in my hands. I love to cook and am good at it.
I am fit, if larger than I would like to be although that is changing as I am hoping to go on the voyage of a lifetime next year starting with the Antarctic.
I am now going to retire from this and any other sites that I am on as I have had little or no success so am obviously not what any sane man is looking for! My ideal match? Difficult to quantify but sense of humour is a must. Someone who is financially responsible and independent and not threatened by a strong minded and financially independent woman.
A man who is kind and caring but also sensual and adventurous, well travelled and well informed. I enjoy discussing world affairs and take a keen interest in many different cultures. Someone who is physically fit and enjoys the outdoors. A man who still has a sense of adventure and is still curious about the world. A man who wants an equal partnership and a loving relationship, someone who is not afraid to show their emotions and will allow me to show mine.
