About him
I'm an easy going chap with many interests. I have a job I love which forces me to be Mr Sensible at work, most of the time. I enjoy travelling and am reasonably adventurous. I don't mind getting covered in dust and mud occasionally as long as there is a hot bath and a G&T at the end of the day. I enjoy music, my taste is pretty 'middle of the road' if I'm honest. I used to play the trombone. I wasn't very good, but it did give me an intro to bands and orchestras which would have demanded a higher standard had I played something more common. Happily common sense prevailed and to save the music world from a fate worse than death, I gave up! However it's nice to see and hear others have a go, so I enjoy the odd concert when I can get my act together.
Am I only person whose desire and reality are very nearly diametrically different? I love going to the theatre, but seem to rarely manage a visit. Same for the cinema. Not much fun going on ones own, still one can get the programme read from cover to cover!
I did share a little boat and have explored most of the south coast of England, Channel Islands and the Normandy coast of France. For me it's a great holiday. Bit of exploring, adventure (man against the elements and all that), actually we were in the pub talking about it if was that rough! Wouldn't mind getting another one if the 'piggy bank' permits, but only if I had an interested chum. It's a hell of a tie and not much use if it's only seen for three weeks in the year!

My family are important to me and I try to keep an eye on my remaining ancient parent. She's very independent (so far), but I'm conscious that things can easily change quickly.
So there you are, Mr Amusing if you like my jokes and wacky sense of humour and Mr Boring if you don't. If you want to listen to a trombone concerto in some exotic place I'm the bloke to organise it.
