I am a widow and looking for someone with similar interests. Sadly my husband died unexpectedly 10 years ago, but I'm ready to look for a new partner to share some of my interests and/or my life".
My main passion is golf, as well as travel, and the outside. As a child I enjoyed rushing around, swimming riding bikes, and climbing trees, to give you an impression of what I am like. I'm extremely fond of my family and friends, and having a good time with them is important.
I would like to find someone who is interested in exploring new places and countries, especially warm ones with interesting cultures and histories. I am reasonably well behaved and a chatty kind of person.
Things I'm not keen on are badly behaved/jumping up dogs; and politicians - they seem to spend their lives squabbling, grabbing and spending too much of our money and doing things that they don't want us to know about.
I'd sack the lot of them and start again.
I'm also a grumpy woman in that I don't like noisy crowds, and people moving around endlessly and shouting on trains when I'm trying to sleep/ read. Mind you I can also be guilty of shouting in trains, but then I make sure I don't sit in the 'Quiet Carriage'.
Domestically I'm not much of a female. I am a tidy person though. Don't like things 'lying around' as my father would say and I'll cook, but much rather have someone to teach me interesting recipes than concoct them on my own.
