Friends, especially those ones that go back years, are really important, as are family. I don't like to loose touch.
I generally manage to keep up the tennis over the winter, it's good to keep going, and in normal circumstances like to spend plenty of time on court.
I have a passion for National Hunt racing, having been very involved in a former life, and have the privilege to ride out in Newmarket a couple of times a week. It's a challenge and is so exhilarating once you're on the gallops.
I am working part time. I am an amateur gardener, in the process of creating a garden from a wasteland, which I enjoy, I like to be busy and to spend as much time as possible outdoors.
Holidays? Mini breaks to stay with friends around UK, Ireland & France, or daughters in London - could be dinner, theatre, gigs or sometimes even both. I enjoy a bit of winter sun, if that can be worked out.
I try to live each day to the full, this includes as much play as work will allow, and I generally get the balance right. Reading this I do sound rather busy, but there's plenty of time for a quality Shiraz of an evening.

I'm hoping that by joining this site I can meet a man with a positive attitude, who would like to do stuff together. It doesn't have to be 100% of the time. And you don't need to like anything horsey. A tennis player would be a bonus, but not essential. An appreciation of the outdoors, exercise and generally looking after your well being is important. But meeting up for lunch or dinner, is mandatory. The odd holiday would be good too. Anything else would be a bonus. I don't want to be joined at the hip, whilst it's still all in pristine condition!
