I now live permanently in the UK. I am retired and enjoying some volunteering. Loving being able to see my Daughter and Granddaughter more easily, so important to me. I'm pretty easy going, but if something bothers me I'll say so - I won't waste your time, after all life's moving along so not being straightforward with someone isn't fair in my book. I've a fairly broad outlook on life having lived in the US, (Connecticut, New York, Mass., and N. Carolina), the Carribean, and Alaska - yes, I know it's the US but not really. I feel strongly about some things and couldn't care less about others but am open minded and always interested in other peoples point of view which, can change mine even at this age. I can't abide cruelty, bullies and mean spiritedness. Love the planet, animals, good music, opera, theatre, good movies, sailing (anything around the water), wilderness, backgammon, cribbage, cards, am learning bridge - don't take any of it too seriously, even the bridge, it's for pleasure and sociability.
