About him
I'm artistic, and engaged in literature, art and performance. I'm very fit indeed, as I dance a lot - mainly the tango, though in Rio - where I've been for the last three months- I have learnt samba de gafieira. I am unattached at present, and back in London, and treating all this in a light-hearted way, but I'm open to the possibility of an initially casual encounter leading to something deeper. I'm very supportive if I respect what you do - excellence in the arts, imagination, being a damn good writer - these are the sort of things that count for me - and I'm also very good at giving feedback. I like seeing exhibitions, and long holidays for creative inspiration, and I work very hard at my artistic enterprises.
I've performed internationally, had my poems published regularly, run a department in an art-school, taught creative writing in prisons, teach dance and performance, and teach a dance class for people with Parkinson's Disease. I love going for walks in forests, and I collect waterfalls, in the sense that I love to visit them, and find new ones to visit. I grew up in the country, and however steeped in the city I am, I am a country boy at heart. I love horse-riding and skiing but don't do either as much as I would like to. I love a good conversation.

I love women who are intelligent, witty, deep, and agile in mind and body. Also I like people who are open-minded, not that I'm into anything particularly kinky, but I do like words and actions to be unbridled. That said, initially I prefer a slow, relaxed approach. I am a little shy when it comes to expressing myself physically and have to get to know someone fairly well before risking the exposure of my feelings.
I love curiosity and a good imagination. I love exploring wild nature together with someone, and sharing unforgettable experiences. I am a fan of waterfalls. I accept that this may be a fling with no strings, but if it does deepen into something more (which is what I am keen on ultimately) we need to be able to talk, and I love chatting about the arts obviously but also about the wretchedness of contemporary politics, Shiva, palaeontology, meteorology, film noire, nouvelle vague or material, Schumann, George Michael, Valdepenas, bull-fighting and fox-hunting (which I give my thumbs up to, as I do to the legalisation of more or less everything).
I'm trying to improve my Spanish, so a Spanish speaker might be nice, but it's by no means a requirement, and otherwise anything goes. You should probably enjoy dancing and writing, since when I'm not doing one I'm doing the other - with the odd interlude in a gallery. I very much enjoy photography as well as painting, and I love reading what my (hypothetical) girlfriend has written, or looking at her paintings or watching her performances.
