Having lived in Australia for many years I am widely travelled with an adventurous spirit yet content to just 'be' in thoughtful silence sometimes. Sense of humour is well exercised and I'm afraid may even border on irreverent (at appropriate times). To share laughter is fantastic. Initially shy but once on familiar ground - I'm relatively outgoing!! I'm certainly not intense and would rather avoid dramas. Have a sensitive side too - observant of needs, both other's and mine. Looking for a like-minded person who's not giving in to 'age'! Who still considers life - with all its vagaries - as something magical and adventurous!
I enjoy watching cricket, rugby, polo and most sports. Museums and art galleries are places I like to wander around. I volunteer to help out at the Cheltenham Festivals. Would still like to do some travelling. I'm semi-retired yet still interested in the 'cut and thrust' of 'business' although my work is flexible and more altruistic now, and thoroughly enjoyable. I could possibly do with more 'fun' and distraction in my life to create that perfect balance!

I don't honestly know who I'm looking for! A sense of fun from subtle to the ridiculous would be a distinct advantage. I understand life is not full of just laughter, so you could expect support and consideration through less happy times (and vice versa would be appreciated). Someone who believes in loyalty. Someone who'd like to share an interest in rugby, cricket and F1 would be brilliant!! Those are my main wishes, but each individual is wonderfully unique and I find that that 'uniqueness' attractive!! I'm not 'desperate' to be 'attached' and believe the voyage of discovery of another is important in all its aspects.
