Have fairly recently been widowed and would love to meet new people and see whether it leads anywhere or nowhere. Either would be good.
It would be really great to meet someone to enjoy life with - I love the countryside; country life; the city (sometimes); the sunshine; good food (both cooking it & eating it); good wine; my kids & grand-children; both working hard & doing nothing; laughing & animals. Does any of that appeal to you? Very happy to be dirty in wellies, but I'm told I scrub up well! I'm also told I can be a bit bossy, but I prefer to think of it as "determined". Anyway, I TRY not to be bossy - promise!. What don't I like? Can't generalise, but maybe small-mindedness; bad teeth; boredom; sandals & socks . SO difficult to say.....the most important of all is to be able to laugh together, probably at really silly things. Needs to understand my rather dry humour, sometimes misunderstood as sarcasm. Really, it's not! And my ideal match doesn't have any grotty habits. Doesn't need to be "romantic", but definitely not UN-romantic! Oh, and a can-do attitude would be great.
