About her
I would describe myself as reflective and serious, but I like the quirky, unusual and funny side of humanity. I have been living on my own for ten years and am rather tired of having no one special in my life. I would love to find an intelligent companion, who is interested in and passionate about life. I think friends would say that I am warm, direct and consider personal integrity to be the most important quality in relationships.
I have many interests. I like jazz, theatre, eating out, walking, reading. I have lived abroad for 11 years, when I was younger. I enjoy regular holidays, usually in europe and am particularly fond of France. In fact, I like all things French!
I am currently semi-retired, but my week includes some private work.

Personality is far more important to me than looks. I am looking for someone who thinks beyond the superficial understanding of life. However, this would include laughter and having fun together - perhaps whilst having meals out, visiting art galleries, enoying theatre/film trips, or just talking.
