In a nutshell - what you get:-
Large quantities of warmth, love, tenderness, affection, intelligence and fun mixed in with an appropriate dose of space and freedom.
My friends describe me as: optimistic, intelligent, gentle, warm-hearted, loving, kind, dependable, caring and compassionate. I'm easy going and will try most things at least once (although I draw the line at karaoke - and if you heard me sing you'd think that was a wise decision!). I'm spontaneous but responsible - I like nothing more than to take off for the day or weekend, but the bills will always be paid.
I love travelling, spending time with friends, dancing (bonus points if you do too, but not essential), cooking and entertaining, good wine, fine dining, concerts, theater, walking, good conversation, reading and quiet times at home.
I don't have any children but am very close to my two grown step-daughters and my godson.
When I'm with the right person I'm very tactile and affectionate and love holding hands or just touching.
I'm looking for my new best friend, lover and partner - a well-balanced, loving, intelligent gentleman who shares some of my interests, and maybe wants to introduce me to some new ones. Someone who is at peace with his past and is ready for a committed relationship to share all that life has to offer.
I am British, but I've been based in California for the last 30 years, but spend a great deal of time in the UK each year. I often think of moving back or to the east coast, where I also have a lot of friends. If nothing else, “Lockdown” has served to bring things into focus. The friends I’ve been keeping in touch with, are not here. Relocation for the right person would definitely not be an issue!

Wow - this is a difficult one!, I don't have a cardboard cutout I'm trying to fill! We all come with some baggage, I would prefer that yours is hand baggage and preferably small enough to fit under the seat in front:-)) If you have children that you get on with that's a plus, so is enjoying travel and it would probably bode well if you can at least put up with someone who is decidedly not a morning person:-))
Fascinating as they are, spending the rest of my life reading profiles is not what I'm aiming for! I can think of far better things that I....and we....could do with our time:-) I'm looking for a long-term committed relationship, so if you're not, we're probably not a good match.
