About her
I am an outgoing, fun-loving, tactile, people-person , entering a new chapter in my life and looking for someone to share new adventures with.I am also spontaneous but can be reflective. I am affectionate and caring, but also can be strong-minded ( but open to discussion. Communication is key for me in a relationship!)
I enjoy travelling and sharing new experiences with like-minded people.
All aspects of humanity and culture interest me and friends say I am intelligent, caring, honest and loyal with a sense of humour.
I like various genres of music, (particularly live music;) art and theatre. I often share these interests with my three children, who I love and since graduating now live in London, Bristol and Devon. So I manage well the rural-urban divide, thoroughly enjoying both lifestyles!
I was born a Yorkshire ' lass,' enjoying both city life, flowing rivers, trees and moors. However, I have now lived longer in Devon, not quite as a 'Devonshire dumpling,' but appreciate the warmer climate, beaches and moors.
I still need my trips to London and Bristol, to have the odd fix of fumes and vibrancy, as variety is important to me, with a pinch of fun thrown in! I also now have beautiful Winchester to explore, as my eldest has moved there from North London.
My work and study life have been varied, from Tax Accountancy to Psychology. Also advocacy work. A work-life balance has been key, as the centre of my life jigsaw puzzle has been my children and role as a loving, caring mother ( not always getting it right, but continue with the learning journey !)
My three adult children are very important to me (and recently grandchildren,) but I value they are the arrowheads shooting forwards and are independent ( well most of the time!)
Sharing my experiences through volunteering work has also been important to me
In the future, I would love to travel more, try new things and share moments, family, and friends with a special someone.
