Hello!
I am currently living in Santa Barbara, California but am seriously considering making a move overseas.
My lifestyle is one filled with friends, entertaining, traveling and sometimes just being at home. I enjoy cooking, dining out, movies, cultural events and gardening. Being active and trying new things is a great way to live.
Good food, fine wines, interesting conversation, close friends and finding the good in people makes me happy.
I have a good sense of humor as well as being a compassionate, honest and kind woman. Not taking life too seriously all the time and having a good laugh always makes for a great day!
I like the idea of friends and family gatherings and meals to enhance one's life and I look forward to meeting someone with kids and possibly grand-kids on the way.
Writing my profile is challenging, and here's why... I find writing about myself to be very static. I have many aspects to myself, as I'm sure you do as well. The best way to discover all the nuances to one's personality and character would unfold organically and naturally. Describing myself as fun, spontaneous, insightful, gracious, optimistic, etc. only scratches the surface.

I am looking for a man who is kind, honest and has a sense of humor. There definitely needs to be mutual attraction as well as mutual respect. A man who has an optimistic outlook on life and finds the good in situations, and people, is much more interesting to me, along with someone who is engaged in life with their family and friends.
I enjoy a man who likes interesting conversations and is open-minded, introspective and insightful. I also enjoy a man who is secure and comfortable without conversation and is able to just be in a room together without having to speak at all. Being comfortable together would come naturally.
My ideal match is easy going and willing to communicate long distance until my next trip. A gentleman is a must and someone who enjoys traveling and is able to simply relax and enjoy family time or spend a day tucked in watching movies.
