About him
At the risk of sounding conceited I really am rather fortunate to have a pleasant appearance (often described by friends as aristocratic good looks and charm!). Coupled with an often wicked sense of humour, wide experience, numerous and varied interests and a natural self-confidence.
I also spend time engaged in foreign exchange trading. In addition to a first degree in engineering and maths and a masters degree in industrial management I am also a qualified acupuncturist. I recently closed my practice at a local surgery and restrict it to friends and family in need - more a hobby! I have a son who has a very active local osteopathic practice.
Without music I don't think I could survive. From a very young age my passion for classical music just grew and grew. A wide choice from the Mozart, Beethoven, Dvorak and Sibelius repertoire to the more "jazzy" works of Gershwin.
I love beach holidays and travel regularly to the Greek islands and Spain.I enjoy increasingly popular naturist holidays - freedom from clothes on the beach or garden feels so natural and healthy. I am also very interested in the latest science and space developments - particularly health and the origins of time and the universe.
My friends find me caring and easy to get along with and I do make friends easily. I am fortunate in that my appearance is such that I am often mistaken for someone fifteen to twenty years younger. I also feel that much younger and tend to seek company to match.
About his ideal match
Whatever we say chemistry is a vital ingredient! Unusually good looks and attractiveness and an age considerably younger than myself are important. I must be honest and say this is simply how I am and the main consolation is my own relatively young appearance and behaviour. That out of the way here goes!
A share in the love of music, literature and world and scientific events would be great but I would be perfectly happy also supporting my partner in her choice of activities. A high level of intelligence is vital and with a mutual sharing there should be no problem in deciding what to do together - there is so much choice!
A wide and open minded view of the world and people would be good. Fun to go to the theatre,concert, ballet or a good film.
Whilst a lasting long term relationship would be great, the level of "chemistry" would be influential. An alternative would be just REALLY good friends for say the occasional film!
I feel an initial exploratory meeting should be fun and easy going. Perhaps a coffee shop would feel safe but I am completely open minded.
