I am slim, attractive and fairly intelligent (well I think so).
I live in a small village near to Castle Howard and spend far too much money in their garden centre. I am very interested in food (and drink) and love to cook and entertain. I have many interests. I oil paint, attempt to play the piano, enjoy gardening and photography.
I am lucky to live only forty minutes from the coast, which I visit regularly when I get seaside withdrawal symptoms, and yet still have York virtually on my doorstep. Here I can enjoy the shops, theatres, galleries, restaurants and also visits to the cinema where I watch films as well as relays of plays from the National and opera from the Met (although I still wear L plates)
I'm not looking for someone to share all my hobbies and interests - though some would be fine. However It would be good if you were "alive, alert, awake, enthusiastic". My husband died over ten years ago and I do miss male company. It's fun to share

A very difficult one to answer. I could describe my ideal match as tall,handsome, witty,lively, kind, intelligent, great sense of humour, well spoken, music lover, etc but these could all fall by the wayside if, on meeting, there was a certain spark.
