About him
I am an easy going fun loving chap who is outgoing, caring, tactile, sensitive to others needs and essentially a people person. I have had a successful career in medicine. I love the outdoor life and also enjoy some of the finer thing that life has to offer. I prefer to live in the country but at the same time like the city for the amenities it offers. I have a dry sense of humour and I am honest, reliable and young at heart. I retain an unquenched enthusiasm and inqusitiveness for life and world we live in. I have been lucky enough to have children and they and family life has and remains very important to me. I consider the years spent bringing them up to have been a privilege and the best so far of my life.
I really prefer the open air and country and revel in the colours and moods of the changing seasons. I also love the sea and have taken up sailing again which I enjoy (still wrestling with the spinnaker which has been to me the most cussed sail invented by man but getting the hang of it). I have rediscovered the piano (it wishes I hadn't and refuses to open it's lid when I approach) and regularly murder Gershwin or any other composer unlucky enough to receive my attention.
I rejoice in the achievments of man and despair at his failings and frailties. I appreciate history, art, ballet and museums. I enjoy current affairs and lively debate and start my day with a good helping of the Today programme. In the interim I find much to savour in the simple things in life, especially laughter which I could not live without. It would be even more fun shared with you.

A good or light hearted sense of humour, whacky, witty, dry or otherwise would be fun and if you are able to laugh at yourself that would be a real bonus. If you are a positive, pleasant and stimulating person and need someone who will be your best friend and treat you as an equal that would be a great starting point. The rest is all down to that indefinable chemistry.
