About him
I live in London and have done so for over twenty-five years. I grew up in Aachen, Charlemagne's city, and what some call the Wimbledon of equestrian sport. Though I don't ride.
After many years in senior leadership roles across Europe, my life today is quieter and more deliberate. I write essays and articles, and have a book or two waiting to be written. I mentor, and work on projects that reflect experience rather than ambition.
I read widely. Music matters to me, genuinely. The smaller the venue, the better. I'm a morning person who prefers a good kitchen to a good restaurant. I like cruising to the continent when the mood takes me. Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, occasionally France. Good roads, good company.
I'm drawn to conversation that goes beyond the surface, to shared silence that doesn't need explaining. I live with a large, calm dog, part of a life that is already full.
