Yes the bucket list is getting longer, I keep adding to it and will continue to, life's for living.
I'm fortunate enough to have globe trotted on business with extended stays in a number of countries. I learnt from my travels that there are good and bad in all races, religions and cultures. I also learnt about food and wine, I cook to a good standard. I have a philosophy not a religion that guides me through life, more Buddhist than anything else.
The book "Quiet" by Susan Cain was an eye opener for an introvert.
What I'm most passionate about -
Past - bringing up my children as a single parent, I chose to bring them into this world and gladly accepted the responsibility for doing so.
Current - working in the community as payback for all of the help that I have had in bringing up my children.
Future - to keep active (mentally and physically) and enjoy the rest of my life, hopefully in a balanced, loving, caring and sharing relationship.
My friends tell me that I look 10 years younger than my actual age. I enjoy the living in the peace and quiet of the countryside more than the bustle of town and city.
I'm more comfortable in small groups than large crowds.
