About him
Having returned five years ago from working and living in Australia after 18 years, I have now renovated my house and established a social life again.
I would like to share my life with a lovely lady. I love caring for someone I love rather than just looking after myself all the time.
I'm a keen rugby union and cricket watcher but not fanatical about it. I play golf occasionally and have been getting out my bicycle and walking recently to get fit.
Cooking (for others) is a passion of mine and I should be handy with bbqs after my Australian experiences. However, I do spend a lot of time discovering new restaurants.
I love finding reading a good book with a glass of wine, be it at home , in Paris or Spain. I have quite an extensive library now and I continually need new bookshelves.
Despite being a chartered civil and water engineer, I'm starting an history degree through the OU. Perhaps I've missed my vocation.
Whilst I live in the countryside, I still get to London a lot and I do miss the buzz of being in Perth and Sydney, Australia.
