About him
What a Question! I am told that I am not bad at writing "stuff" but this is so hard! I will do my best and hope than anyone who reads this will at least fancy a coffee or lunch - because that is how they will answer this question for themselves.
I think that I am open and honest and am good company. I know its a well worn cliche but what you see is what you get. I do not play games with emotions and certainly expect others to do the same. Of course I have baggage but we all do if we have lived a little. I have been divorced for 10 years and am not in any relationship.
I am a family man, having 4 children , 4 grandchildren, a sister and 2 nieces. We do not , however, live in each others' pockets. We do try and see each other regularly and it can be riot when we all get together. I am Edinburgh born and bred - school, university etc. I have lived in England almost all my adult life though still retain my East Coast "burr"
I am well educated having studied at Edinburgh and at Harvard. I was fortunate enough to retire early and have had a great time travelling, having fun and seeking adventure. I have travelled up the Amazon on a local boat for 5 days, partied at the Rio Carnival, been on safari in Kenya, travelled on the "bullet" train in Japan.to name but a few. I have also lived a dream in Chamonix becoming a bit of a ski bum!! I am not very good at it but love the mountains. I will be back next season.
I also love the quite times - that cosy dinner, a good DVD with great company and the exploration of romantic places hand in hand. I am a firm believer that life should be lived - fancy joining me on the adventure and have some fun?
I am sure that I have written too much and if you have stayed the course well done. To finish on where we started, I am an honest, straight forward guy who hopefully has been a good son, brother, partner, father, grandfather and of course friend. Who thinks up these questions? I have no idea. In my limited experience everyone has something to offer in a potential relationship. What is important is the way in which individuals click with each other. We will soon know if we meet for a drink, lunch or whatever.
Probably we will have similar views, values and aspirations. I am open to new ideas and could never be accused of being "set in my ways"!!! You will probably try to keep yourself fit, without being obsessive.You will probably engage in some sort of sporting activity
