Had to ask a friend to describe me, she said I was the most naturally funny person she had ever met. However am not a comedian, just have a bit of a funny outlook on life, glass half full, hopefully with wine...
Have had all the usual ups and downs in life, family and friends very important and the only thing in life that is worth worrying about.
What can I say, once tried to revive a hamster by putting it in the oven (bit of warmth) and giving it a drop of whisky (a good one), wrapped it in a tea towel, which funnily enough was no help at all.

Have been known to go hiking, fell in the mud and was nearly refused entry at the pub for lunch........
Have two dogs but a battle to get them out these days, have to lay a trail of food to the door.
Lived in S. Africa for several years and had some interesting tiimes there.
Read a lot, I like old fashioned type bookshops although they are few and far between these days. Hate sand but like being near the sea, think chewing gum should be banned throughout the world, evil stuff. Like to be out and about doing something even if it is just a walk out for the paper. I like to garden but my last one consisted of about 1 square metre to sit in and the rest was a mad jungle of planting, need the voice of reason to whisper in my ear occasionally. I had two fish once, Clever and Stupid, Clever could find his food, Stupid not so much.
Happy with the little things in life and willing to try anything at least once. I am easy going and tolerant, but also not a push over. Am ticking over in life at the moment but would like to think there is someone out there I can connect with and have a few adventures. Am a dog lover, one of the few species I have managed not to kill over the years.

Honesty and integrity, I have a strong sense of right and wrong. I like an optimist even if there are the occasional lapses. Am drawn to people who wake up in the morning with a cunning plan for the day. I can be a bit lazy but at the same time very open to get out and about and see the world. I would like to find someone with a least one common interest, I can be both home loving and and outdoorsy (if there is such a word) although I have only really done one sport in my life and that was horse riding, some time ago (10 yrs).
