I have a positive and forward looking outlook on life. I am excited about new opportunities, curious and interested in people and the natural world and keen to find my scrumptious special someone.
I am independent but miss having the company of a partner and would love to simply share walks and talks, hills and thrills (?) trips to see beautiful places and beautiful things, laughs and maybe a dance or two!
I love to be outdoors and, until recently, spent time everyday walking the hills with my scruffy bearded dog - I do seem to like scruffy and bearded...I do love to be on a hill or mountain top.
Of course I enjoy travel...anywhere... I enjoyed whizzing around France and Corsica as a motorcycle pillion rider - what a wonderful way to experience landscapes and architecture! Still on my list: Unexplored UK, Iceland, Vienna (now achieved and enjoyed - tick!), Norweigan Fjords, Pompeii, Skye...and lots more of Scotland.... My dream is to have a campervan!
I worked long hours in education as a teacher and senior leader, a job which required great stamina and was never boring but didn’t leave much space for a life or partner seeking. So I have walked away, relocated to a new region with new hills, explored and discovered a world outside of education and I am tentatively making my way through a new chapter - I'll tell you when I see you!
I am a glass half full person and would enjoy the company of an honest, kind, optimistic, similarly inquisitive man with the sparkle to relight my fire!
