I'm described by my good friends as warm, friendly, caring, genuine, loyal, healthy and fit! I understand also that I 'scrub-up' pretty well and don't look my age! I'm pretty happy in jeans and a polo or t-shirt but I can also dress up for any occasion.
I love the outdoor life such as walking in the Lake District, over our lovely Downs or anywhere else in the world for that matter! In addition to the outdoor life I love 'Romantic Evenings' including meals out, comfortable nights in and also spending time with family and friends. I enjoy music, for which I have quite an eclectic taste, including classical, traditional, jazz and much more.
Visits to the theatre both locally and in London are particularly enjoyable.
I'm fully retired and widowed for just two years.

My wish is to meet somebody who is just a wee bit 'different!' Someone who is warm, has a good sense of humour and can make me smile and laugh. I hope to find someone who enjoys life and doesn't take things TOO seriously! A person who has many interests including visits to the theatre, the cinema, museums, art galleries and, at times, enjoys relaxing in the sun would be just great!
