About her
I grew up travelling the world with my parents who worked for the UN, living in places such as georgia, somalia and syria... The travel bug grew and its taken me through europe, africa and america. Travel is very important to me - both with the rucksack, camping & in 5 star luxury - to learn about new cultures, people, languages.
I have a good sense of humour and like a laugh. I am enthusiastic about most things. I like spending time with family and friends, and make sure I spend plenty of time with them. I like getting out of London and I love being outside exploring. In the UK I head to Wales: Snowdonia and Aberdovey. Last year I visited Burma, this year I went to Bavaria, next year I plan to visit Costa Rica. I stay fit, swim and hike regularly. Art is a passion. My favourite gallery is Tate Britain, as much for the building as the art it contains.
Food: eating out & cooking at home, good food, red wine.
I enjoy most sports: swimming, skiing, hiking/ walking, the beach; the outdoors in general and keeping fit. I appreciate the warmth and sunshine.
I worked as a global trend tracker and fashion marketer for 15 years, before deciding to retrain as a secondary school teacher. I love it, each day is different, it keeps me on my toes and I have a never ending supply of funny stories about and from students.
