About her
I most like myself for my optimism, enthusiasm and upbeat view of life. I 'm very normal - not brilliant in anyway which probably makes life less complicated - but young at heart, easy going, competent and really good at laughing at bad jokes and seeing the best in anyone and everything. My passion for bringing up my four lovely children has dominated the last 20 years, but I have so much energy for the next chapter as they start to go their own way.
I love being outside and walking or cycling and although I love the opera and theatre and wonderful meals and cities and adventures, I really like everyday stuff too.
I have not put a photo on the site as it feels too much like shopping and discarding people before you have even opened the wrapper. I don't expect to see a picture of you either.
But my style is pearl earrings, a little makeup and fairly classical, with a real penchant for LK Bennett Shoes. I never feel short although 5ft 2" may say otherwise and I love being active, slim, fit and healthy.

I'm looking for a companion to travel 'well' with both literally and metaphorically. Which sounds very grand but really I just want to have fun and laugh and share the everyday ups and downs with somebody I trust, like and eventually love.
Writing this I realize that shoes are important -maybe they say more about us than we know. I would really like a well loved and slightly battered brogue to go with my feisty LK Bennett's.
Shallow as it seems I really like good grammar.So if you text in full sentences complete with capital letters and have something substantial on your feet, I would love to meet for a cup of coffee. This site I think is great for bringing strangers together who may never normally meet so we can learn a little from each other and part as friends even if we are never going to meet again.
