I'm a lawyer, but no-one really likes us so I'll keep this bit short and sweet!
Favourite things: my family and friends, great food and wine, log fires, cooking (nothing if not enthusiastic!), a challenge, country pubs, walking/running, live music, knowing I really need to stop laughing but being unable to, learning new things, a book you can't put down, people who are slightly bonkers (in a good way!), sunshine, amazing sunsets and being by the sea.
Travel has always been my great passion. I have been lucky enough to see quite a bit of the world (most recently Brazil/Argentina, Tuscany, Venice, Sydney, Hong Kong), but there are still many places on the wish list (Japan, India, Vietnam, China, more of Africa, Inca Trail and, closer to home, Istanbul and vineyards of Burgundy/Bordeaux!). Climbing Kilimanjaro for charity is on the cards soon... I like quite a mixture when it comes to holidays, but it's usually somewhere far-flung/culturally interesting. A dose of R & R on a beach somewhere beautiful does me good once in a while too!

My family and friends are really important to me, so I would like to meet someone who is kind/thoughtful, loyal and takes care of those he loves. Intelligence, humour, integrity, a positive outlook and great conversation are really attractive qualities too.
I think we would get on well if you are hard-working and ambitious, optimistic, active, love to travel and really appreciate great food and wine! Someone who is confident and successful in what they do, but doesn't take themselves too seriously and has managed to maintain a silly side. Someone who is down to earth and can get on well with people from all walks of life.
