About her
I am a young,active, adventurous and healthy 68 year old. I am told I look younger than my age and I certainly don't feel it. I look after myself and am confident, dress and present myself well and am well spoken and literate. It is important to me that a partner should also be.
I am caring, honest, loyal, compassionate and straight talking. Easy going and open, easy to talk to. Fun loving with a sense of humour. I am independent and don't mind spending time on my own. I'm interested in what is going on in the world and being able to have a serious conversation - about current events and news, books, history - and that is very important to me. I consider myself to be intelligent and inquisitive and strive to improve myself and push the boundaries.
It would be wonderful to find someone who enjoys being me as much I do with them.
I love my home and spending time there - in the garden in summer and over long family Sunday lunches in winter.
Walking my dog in the woods and by the river. I love animals. The cinema, gardening, sunshine, anywhere with water, museums, art galleries, ballet and opera (although I am no expert on either) music, meals out, films, meeting friends. Coffee, wine, reading
I volunteer for the locally branch of a national charity.

I would like to meet some with whom I 'click' - chemistry and trust are very important.
It is not important to necessarily have lots in common, but being together and being comfortable is important.
I enjoy travelling and in that carefree time there is often fun, giggles and laughter which would be nice. I would love to explore more of the world (and the UK) and share new experiences with a partner.
