Ah - the 'fun' bit.
Well, I guess I'm a pretty laid-back kind of guy, generally optimistic, with a sense of humour verging on the wrong sometimes. (Should I have put that in ?)
My passions are music of all kinds - I especially like seeing bands live- and managed to combine this with my love of travel by making a trip to Brooklyn and Austin, Texas earlier this year.
And food/drink - there's nothing I love more than tracking down a cracking restaurant or pub, whether it's here, the US or France. If I have a superpower, it's an uncanny ability to find off-the-beaten-track bars, which would make me a rubbish super-hero, but possibly more fun to hang out with than Batman.
I'm fascinated by politics and the media - I used to be a political reporter before I switched to PR- but I promise not to go on about it.
I have a seven-year-old son who lives with his mum, but I get to see regularly and means I know far more about Horrible Histories than any grown man has a right to.
And I'm partial to a bit of fly-fishing, football and British Military Fitness.

I suppose I'm looking for someone who is comfortable in their own skin; who knows who they are and are confident and happy enough to be that person, if that makes sense.
I like a sense of adventure - better to regret something you've done than something you haven't - and I like the ability to be able to do nothing very much in particular, but enjoy doing it.
A pub lunch, a walk along the Thames, a film and a good laugh; these are a few of my favourite things, to borrow a line from somewhere or other.And it doesn't have to be the Thames - let's explore.
