About him
I am attracted to smarter people than I am, in general. If they happen to women I am even more impressed.
I wish I had experience in selling soap. It's not clear to me what I have to offer. Overall I think I am well read and well informed about a lot of stuff but I am also aware of the Dunning-Kruger effect. At the minimum I hope I hope I am better than average driver like the rest 97% of us.
Soap selling.
(1) I am a fairly well informed person (daily/weekly: Economist, WSJ, WaPo, hs.fi, Guardian, NYT, plus others). I also fight the Dunning-Kruger effect by freely admitting that what the hell do I know.
(2) For reasons that make no sense to me I am personally and deeply involved in some projects in Haiti that try to make life better. I've been there many times in the last 7 or so years. I have no idea why I do this stuff. It simply feels like a worthwhile thing to do.
(3) This may not be a reason to learn to know me. It seems to me that I am not religious and not spiritual at all. Religion and spirituality make no sense to me.
Feel free to think and feel differently.
(4) Not that I am a deep political thinker in the US but Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders appeals to me because of their basic message: middle class has been ******. Donald Trump does not agree.
About his ideal match
It appears to me that most people I know think that I am some kind of bohemian character. I never thought of that about myself. I mostly do what I think makes sense to me. I am not a sartorial genius. I mostly dress what makes sense to me (simple. Black tshirts and blue jeans from Costco, plus sandals from other sources).
Clearly I am a simpleton. Dressed up women (or men) do nothing to me. Women in simple tshirts and jeans have a good chance of getting me interested because of their appearance.
Culturally I have always been baffled about American males and their desires of their female mates. The males seem, in general, come up with quite defined stuff like height, breast size, hair color, shit like that. That amazes me. Without knowing what I want I would be simply amazed to find somebody I like. Regardless of the height and breast size.
I really have no idea of what is my ideal match. I have noticed that when I go to a restaurant I order stuff I know. Once I realized that I started asking them "if you had to eat here what would you order" and suddenly I got food I never thought of ordering.
In sushi places I tell them that I like natto. After that I get the weirdest stuff I couldn't possibly have ever ordered.
But still, you better be smarter than I am.
