About her
I am a glass half full, empathetic, “chilled out’ to use a teenage phrase person, with an excellent sense of humour. I have brought up my 4, well now officially 3 “children’ as my eldest turned 18 last week on my own for over 14 years now and so the benefit is that I have a very close relationship with them all.
I am a very sociable soul but that can range from a trip to London, coffee with a friend, out walking as long as there is a pub at the end of it especially as it is nearly rose season! I really don’t mind what the social activity is as I just enjoy the company of equally positive people with a good sense of humour.
I am a busy person but I like it that way but I do sit down now and again! I am a swimmer not a runner although I do thoroughly enjoy watching my daughter compete and understand the buzz that running gives.
I absolutely adore reflexology and Indian message or a good bath with lots of essential oils to relax, although I will admit I don’t have regular treatments but I promise I do get in the bath every day!
I think life is short and should be happy as far as is possible and so I surround myself with positive people.
Just a quick word about my photos. My main photo is from October last year and second photo is from last month in Portugal.I have found that sometimes people don’t post recent photos and so just to explain why mine look a little different. I had what I thought was flu over Christmas last year and lost a lot of weight. I didn’t think too much of it as it is normal for your appetite to disappear with flu. It had not reappeared by mid February this year and so I had some tests which revealed that I had undiagnosed pneumonia. I am therefore still working on the weight gain. Clearly need to be eating more cakes. I will post more photos when there is slightly more of me to take a photo of!

I am looking for an honest, caring man who values his friends and family and genuinely has time to devote to a potential relationship. I think a sense of humour is really important and so to find someone who shares my rather dry and sometimes silly sense of humour would be amazing. I have very traditional values and so someone who would be able to respect those values would be a must. You also must not be allergic to teenagers or animals!
I am happy to come and watch whatever sport you might play, cricket, rugby or whatever it might be but would be a useless participant. I am personally not a huge fan of football but I am learning about it as my 15 year old son is mad about it!
I am definitely not interested in anyone who is married. I understand that marriages often don’t work out but if that is the case then being honest about that is the only way forward as far as I am concerned. Controlling, judgemental people are also off my list! Definitely no narcissists please- been there done that, got the t shirt, no thank you ever gain.
Just a small note, if we get to the point of exchanging calls or texts, I am an excellent communicator and so it would be great if you were too. I don’t want 64000 texts a day but a few would be great otherwise it is a bit confusing!
