Life takes on a wonderful, extra dimension when you are with someone who returns your affection, desire, interest and cherishing. Provisional plans as a hermit have been put off for now.
I like long, entertaining conversations and I can find an interest in anything. I will take any opportunity for a go, at least once.
Staying fit and healthy by walking my toller retriever at speed in the country plus a lot of homemade pushes and pulls keeps the juices flowing. I am not keen on gyms. There is a plan to ski again with my daughters as I have let it pass by in recent years - skills still okay.
My tastes are middlebrow and flexible. I enjoy blues, traditional and classical music, including opera, and odd bits from country and Dietrich. Likewise film, theatre and dance. There is a clutch of films I like to watch once a year. A good bop also works but there are no safety guarantees.
Everyone here says they like to travel, which is great, but tell me what you want to do when you get there, be it three days in Trieste or a month in the White Highlands. Not keen on a three-hour wait in an airport for its own sake. An idea under consideration is all of next October in l'Herault, swimming in river pools and the still warm sea, watching rugby in cafes, prix fixe lunches, trying to pick up a couple of idioms, and walking in the hills.

I am hoping to find a woman with a good heart who is attractive, engaging, stylish and educated so that we can enjoy each other's company and a mutual attraction. Common sense, energy and an interest in the world would be excellent and any woman who would even consider a short Camino is obviously alright.
