About her
In a few words - quietly confident and kind. A sharer of my time, energy, enthusiasm and generally positive outlook. I’m happiest when in the company of others, when getting out-and-about and when physically active. After years of sport I’ve had to rein back recently but still enjoy walking the hills and walking holidays - most recently the Amalfi Coast in May this year. I do also enjoy the solitude of gardening so it’s not all about being busy - peace and quiet can be bliss!
Sporting wise, I loved pounding the streets, half marathon/10k races and the company of my fellow running club chums. Sadly I can no longer take part but I’m currently trying to get bike-fit again. I’ve tried my hand at sculling and SUP in the past - mainly in an effort to overcome my fear of water. Not sure it worked!
I was born and brought up on the west coast of Scotland but spent most of my life in Somerset. I moved to the Scottish Borders about 18 months - lots of discovering to do!
