About him
A pleasant well mannered person to be in the company of, easy going, consistant and reliable. Able to relate well across a wide range of social groups. Normally reserved but with the self confidence and experience to step to the fore if necessary, can also surprise with a cheeky and fun side.
Widely educated and travelled, experienced in life and able to relate well with people across a wide range of social, professional and cultural backgrounds. Broad minded, considerate and tolerant but firm, can hold strong opinions although willing to debate/hear the other view. Can be a bit stubborn but will give way to reason!
I am an active person who enjoys outdoor life and travel, with sailing, camping/caravanning, walking, cycling and motorcycling being long term activities in the UK and abroad. There was also a significant equestrian period. More sedate activities include reading, music (wide ranging) and films, theatre and concert visits feature less frequently. Dance and languages are the latest challenges with a need for significant re-learning. D.I.Y. competence fortunately is good, enjoyable food and an attractive garden are appreciated, however, cooking and gardening capabilities are better when instructed or supervised!
I have maintained a positive approach to life despite setbacks and believe in living it to the full. I particularly appreciate the companionship, shared enjoyment and social activity a loving partnership brings. I still hope to restore and share the fun, laughter and companionship in life with a like minded lady. Life should include being proud of the person you are with, holding hands, cuddling and those special conversations.

My ideal match has to be the person with the attraction, personality, mannerism and connection to generate that special vibe, to make me pleased whenever I see her or am with her and vice-versa for her with me. Not easily definable.
