Outgoing and fun. Enjoying life to the full with lots of friends and social activities - there's just one thing missing - you!
I know it says 71 on my profile, but that is only 'cos I was born in 1952. I still play football, (walking and 5-a-side in the gym), squash, and am being persuaded to play golf by my friends. I go swimming, (I'm not very good), a couple of times a week, but skirt round the gym as I prefer to kick or hit balls of various sizes.
I like going to the theatre and cinema, but don't like going on my own - I just feel awkward. and besides it's nice to have someone to discuss the production/film with.
I love travelling too. Been to SE Asia, South America, New Zealand and Belarus on cycling holidays in the last 10 years and also went round the world about 3 years ago just before Covid set in. Phew! Loved Borneo and Costa Rica.
I am very lucky to have good health, (just had a new aortic valve fitted - so fitter than ever!), and would love to travel again with a like-minded companion. I have 2 daughters who have flown the nest, (well, one sailed it actually), and I live in my own house with my own car and even have my own hair and my own teeth! There's nothing to stop me now!

I am looking for someone who is perfect..........perfectly tuned to my sense of humour! It's a big ask! Someone who is happy in themselves and not up themselves, (sorry, was that a bit rude?), and is looking for a new adventure. Probably someone who likes sport in some shape or form, and (here's the heavy bit), someone who is kind. Kindness spawns many qualities which enrich a relationship; thoughtfulness, honesty, empathy, care, loyalty, integrity, love......and all the other stuff too which I've forgotten. But that's the great thing about kindness isn't it? If you are a kind person, you don't have to worry about all the other stuff, because it just falls into place......I'll shut up now!
