About him
I am a reasonably fit and active widower, seeking a companion for the journey through the rest of life. This is likely to involve travel to anywhere by land sea or air, but should be great fun. Who knows where this will take us and what may develop, but with the right person we will make the journey together.
I enjoy eating out but also enjoy cooking at home. My interests include motor sport and touring by car, sailing (although these days more often as a passenger on a tall ship or small cruise ship than skippering a yacht), skiing (perhaps more blue than red these days), photography, regular theatre trips, visits to galleries & museums, NT historic houses and sites, DIY, collecting fine wine and caring for my modern classic car.
I have no interest in football but I do follow the Six Nations (due to upbringing in Wales). Reluctant gardener because other activities take priority. I think I have a good sense of humour.
I may have slowed down a little in some areas, but I hope I am still a long way off just pottering about in UK or being ready to sit by the fire with my slippers on. There is a big wide world out there and I want to see more of it.
My main outlook on life is to do what we can while we can.
