Warm and friendly, a bit reserved to begin with maybe. Dry sense of humour. Easy-going. Happy in my own skin and happy in my life. Politically left-leaning (keenly aware of the irony), though these days inclined to wish a plague on both their houses...
I work in higher education, which keeps me pretty busy and have a teenage daughter with me half the time who keeps me busy for the rest of it.
I love all the usual animal and intellectual pleasures...
I've travelled and lived abroad a fair amount and still love the excitement of waking up in new places. I'm rediscovering life drawing, which I love. Play a bit of guitar and ukulele, but not really a singer, though I've been known to write the occasional song. Like the cosy indoors and the wild outdoors in equal measure (and vice versa). Love a bit of camping, though my trusty old camper van just died, so it's tents again for a while - not until after side of Easter, mind... Very partial to a nice hotel and the tasting menu, too... I love the sea and being in it. I'm a non-obsessive fisherman - they do exist (trout, not carp, by the way). I'm a decent cook and love cooking for others.
