I like words and colours. I’m creative and questioning. There is much to see and learn
I am immersed in history and culture and enjoy sharing these (work) interests with others. I am a frequent visitor to theatre, cinema, art galleries and libraries.
Living in York, I walk everywhere. I am a regular swimmer - stretching my spine and my mind.
I like making things : jam, curry and recycling old denim. Repurposing is fulfilling because you see the beauty in an item and enhance its features, giving it a new lease of life.
I only drink occasionally. I’ve recently discovered that I can enjoy most experiences sober and no longer need Dutch courage. But all things in moderation, we take our pleasures where we can and I’m happy to buy you a pint - after all, York is famous for its pubs !
