About her
I am a gentle, curious person with an analytical mind, originally from Canada. I have a degree in French literature and I also did an MBA many years ago. I live in the Peak District and my house has now been sold (subject to contract). I have had my offer accepted on a house in Stratford upon Avon, which is a near friends and family. I do have wonderful friends where I live now but it's time to move on.
I have been a widow for 3.5 years. I used to be quite adventurous, travelling to and living in several countries, and learning languages (in addition to French) like Spanish, Turkish and six years of Mandarin.
My hobbies? I love cooking and baking for loved ones and playing piano, now that my little cocker spaniel has stopped annoying me as soon as I sit down! I keep myself as fit an healthy as possible, although I recently hurt my shoulder so no weights for awhile! I stopped taking paid contracts last autumn, thinking I would be moving house (I had an offer that fell through), but I still do some pro bono work as a business coach, which I enjoy.
