I’m warm, friendly, intelligent and kind. I’ve had a great family life and good career but my children are grown up and so I’m free to be me. I enjoy having fun! I’m planning to retire and maybe do some travel. I’m happy to embrace a range of travel ideas, from camping, van life through house sitting, air B&B, to fancy cruises and boutique hotels. just exploring in the UK suits me too. As a fit and healthy person who enjoys, open water swimming, cycling, walking, running, yoga, skiing and some water sports (Kayaking and Sup boarding), I hope to make the most of my free time and be active. I swim in the sea down here in Falmouth all year round but I’m rarely to be found in an wetsuit. I enjoy good food and wine, but also happy to sit in a nice pub with a pint and listen to live music. I enjoy creative and cultural activities. I’m a social person. I enjoy dancing, live music and lively summer music festivals. I’m doing some festival volunteering this summer. I’m happy to sit on the sofa with a good book, a movie or TV series but not that much into TV. I’m an independent women, generally pretty happy in myself but feel life is better as shared venture. I’d like someone who’s enjoyed a good family life, even if things didn’t work out. Someone who’s been a father. Someone who’s had a good career, but is perhaps ready to retire early and enjoy and a comfortable retirement. I’d be looking for someone who looks forward, has a good sense of humour, a sense of adventure and keen to engage with range of outdoor activities e.g. walking, cycling, kayaking and travelling. Good physical and mental health are also important qualities. I’d like someone who is independent and also keen to walk hand in hand. Some practical skills wouldn’t go a miss but not essential, but useful if we find ourselves out on an adventure and get into a fix. Nothing quite like a good sense of humour and an inner sense of esteem. I just love a well regulated man who is prepared to engage with a problem and willing to find a solution. A healthy appetite for food, as well as for life are attractive traits. Fussy eaters, and someone who wants to fix me would be my deal breakers.
