Self deprecating, reasonably intelligent. Grammar school educated, degree in electronic engineering. Chartered Engineer by profession with my own company. Eclectic sense of humour.
I like dogs, two salukis. Like walking (usually with a pub involved), reading, eating out and going to the cinema (and other clichés). Generally I don't mind what I do, I'm open to suggestions.
I prefer nice hotels to camping and tend to holiday in the UK (usually with the dogs).
Hobbies: I walk a lot, I have my own website and write articles about engineering and computing and sometimes about fonts (which may be too much information).
My outlook on life is pragmatic. I tend not to worry about things.

Well, you will need to like dogs, walking and pubs.
I look for intelligence (I like people who can think of things that I haven't), I like people who can make me laugh. I tend to prefer tall women (my Dad always told be to stay away from leggy blonds, but I failed on that count), but not exclusively.
In terms of what would make things work, you might need to be patient with me, I've been on my own for a while now.
Smoking would probably be a deal breaker.
