About her
Born in India, raised since babyhood in Surrey, I'm a natural extrovert, although apparently becoming more introverted with age. I am confident, capable, independent and professionally successful and I like to be busy. I have a wide circle of friends and like to be sociable but also need balance with solitude and quiet. I truly believe in the "one life, so live it" philosophy but my overthinking sometimes gets in the way. I'm at a stage where I'm trying to invest more in myself after focusing on others for decades, and am actively looking to get the most out of the next 20 years before age makes me start to think about slowing down.
I love running, mostly on trails, and love being in nature and noticing what's around. I'm also happy to walk, cycle or swim, especially in rivers and waterfalls (not so much in the UK). I've seen a lot of the world and feel very comfortable in new places. I learnt to Scuba dive before lockdown and would love to do more. I have recently discovered meditation and mindful living which serve to temper my naturally energetic approach to life.
My 21 year old son lives with me and I have a creative 23 son who is currently at uni, although he may return home to live later this year, unless he takes the push I am giving him to go off and experience some other part of the world. The love of my life at the moment is an affectionate and adored cockapoo, but I've decided it's time to start the search for a new two- legged male companion in the hope of nudging closer to finding my best life.

I'm looking to meet someone who has really lived their life, who has a range of interests and a natural curiosity for the world. Must like to be quiet some of the time, but also able to be sociable and a good communicator, to shift gears and find a level with lots of different types of people. A wicked sense of humour to feed my irreverent side would be a blessing after years of living on the sensible side of the tracks.
I'm looking for someone who likes a balance between doing stuff and just hanging out, is self-aware and comfortable with themselves, whilst also being tuned into the needs of others around them. They must be financially stable and perhaps wondering what the next chapter of life after raising a family, or working for decades at a career might hold.
