About him
I'm not really called Ivor, that is what some friends in Canterbury call me because I drive a bus. Was married between 1980 and 1988 and was a single Dad (my son is now 26). Was a policeman for nine years, then worked on the railway until 1993 when the night shifts became a problem. Went on the buses and am still there! I like trains, dogs (have 4) and classical music and attend church once a week. I live in the country in a rented cottage which is Victorian, not chocolate box, surrounded by orchards and fields. If you like peace and quiet, with no traffic or artificial lighting, it is here! I happily do all the things most men would expect a woman to do for them, like shopping, washing and ironing, even cleaning the loo, and am not looking for someone to wait on me hand and foot, but have had enough of living on my own. As I am not a 9-5 person and often work on Sundays, I tend not to go out a lot socially but this is also due to not having a partner. This is a bit of a long shot but I would like to meet someone else in east Kent so that we could see each other without travelling great distances and she could maybe stay with me from time to time.

This is the most difficult bit. It can sound like looking at an Argos catalogue. It all depends on chemistry; whether you both like the look of each other is inevitably what creates any initial interest. You do see some odd pairings, though.
