I've always been optimistic and enthusiastic and decided I should take the plunge by putting my profile out there, however, I don't know what to expect, hopefully any surprises will be pleasant. I have a great family and close friends, but miss the spark in my life that comes from a healthy relationship with a man who makes me look forward to seeing him again, even if he's only gone to get a pint of milk!
Essential is being on the same wavelength, sharing similar values and being able to enjoy your own interests as well as encouraging the other to pursue theirs.
Also fundamental is the chemistry thing, if that isn't in the equation then there is little point, hope that doesn't seem too black and white, but if the pheromones don't fizz a little?.........

I enjoy the company of someone who is self-confident without being arrogant. Who is comfortable in their skin and ready to have adventures fairly regularly. Hopefully someone who hasn't been a stranger to adventure until now either. Love the company of people who have taken a few risks and maybe even still want to......Unlikely to have beaten the average path to get to today.
All that said - I have a conventional side, and am not looking for a bungee-jumping, arctic trekker. I enjoy the outdoors, specially travelling, walking and sailing. I also love cosiness and do not avoid the normal 'reality' sides of life on a day to day basis. These would be qualities I would admire in a boyfriend.
I love to share experiences and am as happy up to my elbows in mud or wallpaper paste as much as I am sitting in a nice restaurant choosing a good bottle of red. Merrily get scruffy, but do love getting 'dressed up'.
