About her
I am an ex-corporate business professional (HR, Communications, Change and Project Management) who has also run my own business (Polo). Now downsized from business life (though still do the odd bit of freelance work here and there), I enjoy anything and everything to do with the home, garden and countryside. I am active and energetic, open and honest, happy and content. I would like to meet someone similar, with a strong practical streak, who is also emotionally mature and intelligent. I love being outdoors whether it be gardening and growing vegetables (Spring & Summer) or walking the hills and collecting/chopping wood for my open fire and wood burner (Autumn & Winter). I also love all animals. I have an enquiring mind and enjoy keeping up to date with current affairs. I enjoy travelling into London for special, cultural or sporting occasions but these days am happier in jeans and boots than ball gowns and heels. I have travelled extensively and lived overseas as a child. I still have a hankering to travel and love Africa & India, but have never been to South America or Australia/NZ.
