About her
Some random facts about me:
I have 2 adult sons, 3 brothers, 9 nephews and nieces and more cousins than I can count.
I was a primary school teacher for over 35 years and I loved it. I am now an independent safeguarding and special needs consultant- writing, speaking at conferences etc and generally supporting schools.
I am a practising Jew (cue jokes that one day I will be good at it). I am a Liberal Jew- a left wing and inclusive form of Judaism; woman rabbis etc. I am not necessarily looking for someone you shares my beliefs, but someone who can respect and is tolerant of them.
I am dyslexic, so watch for the typos! This means I can't remember numbers. I don't know my left from my right and can't file. But I can remember names, am imaginative and can make links that others can't.
I am caring about people and all sorts of issues and at times get very enthusiastic about all kinds of things. I like to talk and am good at listening too.
I am a regular outdoor swimmer with a particular love of swimming in the Thames.
I enjoy meeting people, though I am also happy to stay in and read a book or watch TV.
I love going to the theatre and am always meaning to go to the cinema more. I also enjoy live music gigs, but I am yet to try opera.
I enjoy cooking for family and friends, though I like it when people cook for me and eating out too.
