I enjoyed live theatre, cinema, occasional ballet and concerts, art galleries and visiting historic places and hope to do so again. I like the outdoors . I have almost no interest in sport but I am reasonably fit. I walk and cycle quite a lot.
My daughter and son are both grown up and independent and I see them frequently.
My musical preferences are mostly classical but also blues, rock and folk.
I drive my car when it's useful and I like to ride a touring motorcycle even when it's not although dog ownership has curtailed my motor cycling.
I like dogs and after a few years of being dog free I now have another Golden Retriever.
I enjoy a variety of things but am no expert in anything. I think I have an enquiring sort of mind that I like to keep alive. I retired early and completed a degree with the OU in a different subject to help keep my mind from seizing up. I have recently been doing postgraduate study with the OU.
