I like all the things everyone likes, open fires, nice food, wine etc.
I've been lucky to do quite a bit of traveling, hoping to do some of Africa this year. I've done a bit of skiing and sailing and climbing and the usual stuff..
I used to play sport to a serious level, retired now, but still like to keep fit with cycling and gym generally, however I hate football - have no idea what the rules are!!.
I do own way too many shirts. I wear shirts for work, but equally at home in mucky jeans and a rugby top now and then!
I like being around positive people and people with passion for whatever it is that matters to them.
I recently bought a cottage in the Cotswolds which I'm renovating (i.e. it's a bit of a mess and needs some building work!), it also might be the death of me if I ever get all the woodchip off the ceilings and walls.
With a springer spaniel I obviously love to get out for some good walks. If I could meet somebody similar, that sounds great, but I don't have a "type" just somebody that clicks. I'm pretty flexible about most things. A good (perhaps slightly dry) sense of humor would be a bonus and somebody that can put up with my excessive use of punctuation, particularly around exclamation marks!!!

I have no real expectations and am pretty flexible about most things, but obviously need to be able to communicate and have a similar outlook on life (well the important things anyhow).
